About Oakridge
Oakridge Children Services is an ABA therapy centre at 101 West Drive in Brampton. We help children and teens, including autistic children, build communication, social and everyday skills, with every program planned and supervised by a Registered Behaviour Analyst.
How we think about therapy
Every child can learn new things. Our job is to find out how your child learns best, start from what they already do well, and teach the skills that make daily life easier for them and for your family.
We’re a centre-based clinic. Your child comes to a space set up for learning and play, with materials, other children and a team that knows them. Parent coaching then carries those skills home.
Our standards
- Regulated supervision. A Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) designs and oversees every ABA program. Behaviour analysis has been a regulated profession in Ontario since July 1, 2024, under the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Trained therapists. Sessions are delivered by therapists who receive ongoing training and supervision.
- Goals you can measure. Each child has a written plan with specific goals. Progress is recorded every session and reviewed with you.
- Positive methods. We use positive reinforcement and teach replacement skills, built around your child’s interests.
- Families as partners. You help set goals, get regular updates and learn the same strategies we use.
Our team
Our clinical team is made up of Registered Behaviour Analysts, who assess each child and design and supervise their program, and therapists who work with children day to day. You’ll meet your child’s team before therapy starts, and you can always ask about anyone’s qualifications. Any behaviour analyst’s registration can be checked on the CPBAO public register. Between us, we speak English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu.

What qualifications do your therapists have?

What is a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA)?
